Food for thought

An acquaintance sent me a copy of his recently published book on the food business across the world. I was absorbed by it for much of the weekend. I read slowly so it may well take me all Easter to finish... Plenty of production and future capacity to grow food enough to feed 9 billion people - but waste, politics and infrastructure stop it happening. Stuff we all know really, but it is good to see it in one place in a form that is easier to quote...
