Bloody cranesbill
Geranium sanguineum
This is a wild geranium that a lot of us grow in our gardens. I picked it today knowing I didn't have time for an outing - or much inclination to take the camera out, I have to admit, because although we had many flashes of sunshine we've also had huge deluges of rain.
I'm tagging it for today's TinyTuesday. The flowerhead is approx 2.5cms across. I love the dark veins across the petals and the wonderful architecture at its centre.
Many thanks to JDO for hosting today's challenge. And enjoy your evenings, all xx
