Today's walk

I had to catch the Metro to the starting point.
I'm always first to arrive and say I'll arrive later.
Anyway its a good walk from Shiremoor Metro.
It takes us along the Waggonways and under the main Coast Road.
We end up at the Meadow well Community Centre for coffee.
Afterwards we caught the Metro home.
Meadow well was once known as the Ridges.
In 1991 there was protests and riots there when the estate went up in flames.
