Time well spent

Faced with frequent heavy rain showers which were torrential at times, it clearly was not a day for any form of pleasurable outdoor activities. Fortunately I was able to get ahead of the game and spend time in the kitchen to prepare for friends coming to supper tomorrow night. This is my take on a Spanish chicken stew with the addition of chorizo and tomatoes. The extra day will, hopefully, allow the flavours to develop. The extra is an Apple and Blackberry Crumble.
