I'm only going to allow myself one sentence to talk about the W word: I went in to said W place today and I shan't be going in again for the remainder of the holidays.

I hadn't realised the extent of the chaos the snow had caused until I watched the news this evening. Extraordinary happenings. Heading off to spend a few nights under the canvas next week - is this a wise choice I ask myself? Damn skippy it is - it'll be fab!

It'll be crampon weather in some parts; only a matter of time before there are more casualties in the mountains. There are some daft folk out there for sure.
