Volunteering

At last it’s Saturday. But no rest for the wicked - apparently.
On Marshall duty first thing for parkrun. Haven’t done one for such a long time I felt I owe them. Today’s was particularly interesting as besides the runners we also had Segways and horses to contend with. All adds to the interest!
Then a little sing song in the afternoon with the community choir in our local graveyard. Not our usual venue but this was for a special open day there. After our tunes we joined the tour of the graves and heard about some of the research that’s been going on.
Such a busy day meant I managed to put of holiday packing till last in the evening!
