Caught

A few bursts of sunshine between some heavy showers of rain today.  Tim had to forego his bike ride this morning as it was hammering down just as he was about to set out.  He did his exercises instead - all while I slumbered on.  He's very good.

Had a good work day.  Cooked dinner straight after, wolfed it down, and headed straight out to a neighbourhood watch meeting.  Lots of discussion about the recent (very local, and very tragic) murder of school teacher Sabina Ness, unsurprisingly, and about feelings of safety or otherwise while out and about at night.  Got home to the news that someone has been charged with her murder, which is hopefully reassuring.
