Flowers in the rain

What a freakin’ miserable day. It started with rain, there was some rain in the middle and then a butt load of rain at the end.

There was also some work, a trip to the office and a spin round Asda on the return. 

The highlight was seeing these pretty flowers in the piddlin’ rain and having a movie night with the wee ones as we watched In The Heights, which prompted a brief discussion with my 7 & 8 year-olds about immigration before bedtime.

There is always light to be found in between the rain drops.
