Look what popped up

This was the view close to the woodland floor this morning and I’m sure these two fungi have appeared during the past twenty-four hours as we walked this way yesterday and didn’t see them.
Although it was a damp start, the day improved as time went on and I was actually able to do a bit of gardening this afternoon. It’s a bit like trying to tame the jungle at the moment as things have grown rather out of control. I think I might plan a few changes to the planting for next year.
