Mermaid Beer

Of course they don’t call it that, but they have a mermaid on the can. It was actually quite good, as was the dinner it accompanied. Both were much needed. Today’s drive to Waco TX was always going to be long, but it wasn’t helped by the massive T-storm as we passed through Brady (“The Heart of Texas”). Horizontal rain, flooded roads and visibility down to about 100’. We tried to wait it out, but would probably still be in the middle of nowhere, so we went for it. Another of these experiences that’s exciting if you don’t die.
