Spent a few hours being assessed for removal of a cataract. All went well and I am on the list, though unfortunately the astigmatism in my eye means that I can’t upgrade to a lens which means no glasses in the future, as I’d hoped. Travelled by bus through the city centre as couldn’t drive for six hours afterwards. Excellent bus service and it only took 40 minutes - would have been about 25 by car but parking looked very limited.
When I got home yet more scaffolding had been erected!
