Gold Lace

We bought these beautiful little plants last week, and since then they have been sheltering under the lean to at the back of the house.

They are Primula Polyanthus and should be pretty hardy. I keep thinking I'll plant them out, then I feel sorry for them and leave them where they are! At least they have several other plants under there to keep them company!

We've been incredibly lucky and had no snow at all this winter, just lots of gales and very cold weather. The wind has really dried out the ground, the earth is bone dry. The sparrows are thoroughly enjoying themselves, dust bathing in borders and vegetable beds!
