Ashton Canal

A wander around Manchester with Andy, Chris and Martin today.  The new canalside developments in Ancoats looked very good in the heavy rain showers, with plenty of reflections on the wet paving.

We later went to Deansgate Square to have a closer look at the new tower blocks I moaned about last Thursday. From the foot of the buildings, on a sunny day with a bit of cloud in the sky, they actually look terrific. 

Concluded with lunch at the new branch of Bundobust, complete with its own brewery.
