first lord of the treasury

a curious envelope i picked up in the junkshop....


it's addressed to "miss claire davidson" at a london school..

dated 1963 with a rubber stamp on the front "first lord of the treasury"..

on the back it has an embossed "admiralty house, whitehall, SW1".




the rest is an illustration of coronets from 1916 dictionary.
