Drama Through the Ages

This frieze called 'Drama Through the Ages' runs along the side of the Odeon cinema building on Shaftesbury Avenue. The building used to house the Saville Theatre, and the sculpture is by Gilbert Bayes (1872?1953), who was also the scupture of the bronze statues outside Selfridges. I've always admired this frieze whenever I'd passed it.
