Although I had a long day's work, including a meeting with the Head of School, the evening was clear so I was glad to go out with the Pentland Fun Runners. The sun set as I was driving the 10 minutes over to Ninemileburn, and then we had to wait for the latecomers, so the sky had almost lost its colour by the time I got up the first hill and had a westerly view. As always, it was fun to run on the tops and downhill, although I eased off the pace as the light started to fail and finished with my head torch on. The extra shows some of the merry band of 20 savouring our highest point.
