Perseverance rewarded

Another day of calling with no sales, including some I was very hopeful of... :/
So went for my village walk to clear my head as it looked lovely and sunny... it was, but also windy and chilly!! Noticed these gargoyles on the church for the first time...
Had an early dinner when I got back (lovely mushroom risotto), so I could spend the early evening calling new customers I made at Goodwood earlier in the summer... second one I spoke to was waiting to go into Old Trafford! - but ordered all the remaining bottles of the wine he bought at Goodwood, plus two of a new Burgundy 1er Cru to try... £875... And wants me to call him tomorrow to arrange a pre-Christmas home tasting... Almost makes up for 2 depressing days of no sales... And gives me renewed hope for tomorrow (I agree with Ted Lasso that "it's the hope that kills you" is rubbish!)
