Bakers dozen minus eleven

After a very disappointing wedding fayre and suit shopping we came home, made lamb bolognese for lunch and got needing our very first attempt at bread making. Here is the result. Unfortunately looks better than it tastes. It has a taste of bread you get with continental breakfasts, very dense and sweet.

Oh well my attempt at using everything out the freezer and cupboards before going shopping again is keeping us fed and entertained. Haddock, macaroni cheese and parsnips planned for tomorrow, I am dreading tinned corned beef and sprout night though!
