Another Autumn display
I spent most of today trying to catch up on housekeeping and laundry, which seems an enormous task but in which I made a significant dent. This display, put together by the tenant who has the terrace garden with the flamingo, is all artificial flowers but makes a striking display outside the third floor elevator.
May is in the hospital and again on hospice, probably for the last time. Her breathing has gotten so poor that it's barely possible for her to breathe on her own. They're keeping her sedated and don't think improvement is likely. Knowing this has stirred up a lot memories and emotions. We're just waiting to see what will happen.
