Goodness Gracious Me

Cabbage trees are very common but it has taken until today for me to see the flower spike beginning to grow.  I have only see the flowers when the are fully out, white and showy.  
For a while now we have been looking for a new light fitting for above the dinning table.  We have a sloping ceiling and it hasn't been easy finding a fitting that will do the job of illuminating and has a modern design I like.
Today we hit the jackpot and it will be in store tomorrow.  People seem to be waiting weeks for appliances to turn up.
