In the Woods …

… our village herd of 12 chamois were enjoying the sun and the long grass in a clearing. Apart from pressing the shutter I stood stock still in the shadows and they did not see me so I was able to observe the youngsters playing and the adults flirting. I guess the rut will be starting soon. The youngsters are still reliant on their Mums for reassurance. A big male was showing off standing up against a tree (extra) and making guttural noises which this youngster didn’t like it seemed!

Thanks for all the good wishes for Preston, he is now itching to get outside of course so we have to be very careful.
