No more mystery

For today's optional Abstract Thursday theme of 'simplicity' I dove into the kitchen drawers. My image is of a kitchen device which we found when clearing the in-laws house. Its purpose was a mystery to us until now, because of this shot I Googled the text on the device and found out it would be used to grip and slice  a piece of (roasted) meat in even slices :-) I've rotated the original shot 180 degrees because then there's some optical change , but for the rest it's simply a crop and a bit of level fiddling .
