A fleeting glimpse

The sun in 'sunrise' was but a fleeting glimpse today. So much so that my sister missed it by going to the bathroom before taking a shot and I caught it by waiting on the landing! By the time we both got downstairs the sun had gone and has note been seen again all day. Instead we have miserable, cold, wet and windy weather! The heating went on for the first time in months and we are hunkered down this evening with fish and chips which we were lazy enough to order in!
