Ripples and reeds

Chilly this morning.  Hound a little off  breakfast, might be the bit of yesterday's mackerel disagrees.  House tasks in the morning.
Afternoon - visited Wicken Fen.  Dull sky but hearing the reeds in the wind in the natural space was uplifting and a huge relief from the drilling to install fibre cables in our street and constant traffic. 
At 7pm watched a Darwin College (Cambridge) lecture by Dr Robin Morrison on her work at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund's Research Center in Rwanda.  Fascinating.
