A little hesitant....

When I told Ottawacker Jr. he had been chosen to do some goalkeeper training above his level, he was quite pleased. That might have had something to do with it taking place after he is usually in bed. When he got there, it was a different matter, though.

I'm quite unforgiving of hesitancy at times - and I forget how daunting it can be for an 8-year-old to wander into a group of kids who are twice his age and not be apprehensive. In the end, I should have listened to him - as it was the wrong group. He was in the U-12s, not the U-15s...

Anywho... he did well. And as the autumnal chills begin to descend, he managed to keep warm and happy during what was, I have to say, for once, an excellent session (see extra photo).
