Necessity is the mother of invention

I don't often reach for a proverb but..... The catch has gone on the flash on my camera so it stays popped up all the time. The solution? An old Morrison's store card cut to size so it fits into the hotshoe. Slide it forward and it keeps the flash down, pull it back and up pops the flash if you need it. Sorted.
