Just Dessert

Had a belated wedding anniversary dinner this evening.
This is my pud.
I toyed with the idea of taking the dried orange slice home - looks like a Christmas decoration!

Did a really silly thing today.
Our young guest from Hong Kong who stayed last week, accidentally left behind a t-shirt and a pair of shorts.
I washed them and thought I’d iron them today. He’ll be back with us in a few weeks.
I tested the iron on the inside hem of the shorts which seemed fine…. then I proceeded to burn the front of them.
Aargh!!
There’s a hole too.
What an absolute numptie!!!
Hubby found a similar pair on Amazon and ordered a new pair.

So silly….

And I’ve got to clean the sole plate of my iron now. Apparently toothpaste does the trick!
