Stairway to ...

Along Richmond Road is a short terrace of shops, the one at this end being a draughtsman or architect office. The red walled lean-to is their storage for files, it would seem. This outside area is behind a high fence, but I was able to take this photograph through the railings of a wrought iron gate.

The stairs have been here for years. I have seen one or two people sitting on the lower steps with a coffee or something to eat. I don't know if anyone climbs to the top and finds out to where it leads.
