Patience paid off
Blue jay has the pick of peanuts. We do not usually feed the bluejays until after the other birds have had their babies. They are know to eat eggs or young babies. They are one of the few birds to cache food. They are highly
intelligent at solving problems and communication with other birds. They warn other birds of intruders in the forest. They can scream like a hawk to scatter birds at the feeder. This one was waiting for the squirrels to get their peanuts before he took a turn.
