The old ferry terminal

Built in 1912 on reclaimed land out of sandstone and brick with a base of Coromandel granite, it cost ?67,944 to construct (Wikipedia)

I wouldn't like to see this building in Christchurch but here in Auckland it looks good. loads of pristine bricks and still serving a purpose today.
I remember going into a little cafe in here before the RWC game between Scotland and England.. dont remember the last part of the night :-)
