No More
This was my pressie from Mikey when he got made redundant - though he went one better and bought me a real one. Landy was sold and replaced a couple of years ago - he was old and just not practical and we have now decided to sell the horse trailer too as we are not using it much. I get too stressed towing it and Jack doesn't like it much and now I am closer to lots of bridleways there doesn't seem much point in having it.
One of the horses at the yard had to be put down tonight - he was very old and was found in the field with a twisted gut. There was nothing that could be done for him. Can't imagine what his owner must be going through right now. Couldn't contemplate life without Jack but it always makes you think ....
But on a happier note, Peggy went to the vets tonight to have her nails done and to also check out the lump she has on her chest. We have put off getting it checked out, which I know is silly but again the thought of it was just too unbearable and it wasn't causing her any pain. Anyway, the vet says it is just a fatty lump and she is very healthy for her age. Thank God!
