This morning’s dawn sky…..

A clear, star-sprinkled sky greeted Maisie and me early this morning. The sky was a glorious shade of orange in the east and there was frost beneath my feet. Wind machines were humming to protect vulnerable grapevines. A very active busy day followed. I visited friend Denise in the early evening to catch up with long-time friend Emily and her two beautiful children visiting from Christchurch. A lovely catch up. Friends are so special.
