Piggy backs

After my chiropractor appointment I popped along to the Boulder Bank ponds again.  These bugs (striders?) have been piggy-backing one another since last time I was here.......they must be exhausted!!  
Not much happening on the bird front - very few swallows, the odd kingfisher (too far away, though I did notice that he appeared to have caught a gecko!), heard a fern bird or two but again, too far away and almost impossible to see in the dense grasses.  There were a couple of swamp harriers that flew overhead which looked promising but that was as good as it got.
