Temperature Scarf

The rain continued overnight and this morning. My shopping arrived in the heaviest part of the downpour, but was soon inside, cleaned and put away. As I have an Ocado Smart-pass, I get priority booking for Christmas. I went in to the system very early this morning and managed to get a delivery slot for 22 December. I would have preferred a later one, but from the 22 December onwards the slots were all taken. I should have tried to book one just after midnight!

I also spent quite a lot of the morning proof-reading my granddaughter's university report, which has to be submitted this weekend.

Today's picture is of my temperature scarf, completely up-to-date; just another quarter to complete. Obviously it is hanging upside-down, but after the long section of yellow, it is now back to green and much cooler days. This year it has been cooler, in my village at least, than the last two years. This year the two hottest colours have not been used; unlikely that they will be now.

Once again, the temperature at GMT today was fourteen degrees Celsius.
