First Light and Morning Mist

The bonus of getting up at sparrows fart...driving for 5 hours to catch a plane with just a few hours sleep is THIS.

The Morning was just magnificent with everything floating in a pale misty ocean..then........with the arrival of the sun the cool landscape instantly became warm.
I believe there are some sheep in there somewhere too.

This landscape is so very different from home......it is so dry with BIG BIG skies and golden grass..........i really love it ...and will miss it.
However as we were coming in for land today and taking photos of the clouds I felt a happiness at the fecund and green life that leaped out of the hills to welcome me home.

So home I am....thank you all for spotlighting that lovely big and fat seal yesterday.
I'm going to take a couple of days off now to catch up on everything...kick the lurgy and generally rest up a bit.

Oh by the way the bark on this tree is really awesome so worth have a peek large.
