Firstly a Friday morning brain workout...

...the crossword followed by "just a little job" for Queenie in the corner...

Roy fixed her doorbell and hairdryer yesterday, and ordered some springs for her door handles which had gone droopy... In my experience, any task that involves the use of circlips is never straightforward... and so it proved... However - with a little help from Mr Google the job's a good 'un ;) 

Muriel in the other corner's ancient car went kaput this week, so Roy has helped her source a replacement, and I taxed it online for her this morning. All good - the car has just been delivered and she's been for a little run to get used to it. Both ladies are in their 80s and doing well!

After lunch we took advantage of the improved weather to walk to Scout Dike again, but we went all the way round it this time - just under 6k (see extras)
