Fancy footwork

I won a raffle prize of a visit to Amber of Gloss and Glam for a massage and so whilst I was there thought I'd get my nails painted and a luxury treatment on my feet.  I hadn't realised that the treatment included hot wax - which was very nice too.

Good job they were in full working order as they were required later in the afternoon to wade into our river and help a lady who had fallen in feeding the ducks!  The river isn't deep there but she was lying on her side in the water and couldn't sit up.  We're not sure what happened but several concerned residents rallied around and an ambulance quickly arrived.  We left her being looked after by the medics - very much hope she is OK.
