After heavy overnight rain it’s been a bright day with just a few showers. There were some puddles to avoid or photograph or both as I walked around Grasmere. I’ve chosen the one near the Gingerbread Shop to blip. 

Before leaving Ambleside with only 52 miles of fuel in the tank I drove to the local petrol station but cars were queuing along the road. I decided to try again later and headed north. I bought a few grocery items in the Co-op, put them in the car and then walked around the Daffodil Garden. There's an Acer in extras.  On the way back I popped into the Herdy shop to have a look at some new design mugs. I’d thought about buying 4 but when I turned one over to look at the price (£13.95) I changed my mind.
