Another box ticked

Today I fulfilled a long standing ambition - to see the Grand Canyon.

Words cannot describe this powerful and inspiring landscape, the size is overwhelming. I have no idea how many photos I took but not one will do it justice...I am not convinced any shot by any photographer will show the Canyon for what it is...I was in the gifts shops and even the professionally taken photos did not truly represent the scale and beauty of the Grand Canyon. You have to see it with your own eyes.
