Scavenging

The lads are picking over the bones of a demolished tram. This was Elderslie tram depot which, being ten minutes walk from my boyhood house, was worth exploring in the days before health and safety rules. Trams ran from here to Paisley and Renfrew Ferry. I used them regularly way back then. Only the tenements remain here the ground being completely overgrown hiding the past.
