The Great Tapestry of Scotland

A day out with the Chelsea Ladies. We met at Waverley station and got the train to Galashiels. We were going to see the Great Tapestry of Scotland, we have all seen it before but this was the first time in it's new permanent home. One of our group, the one waving in the extra, was involved in stitching one of the panels. Over 1000 stitchers now have their names on the way up the stairs to the exhibition so it was a lovely moment when my friend spotted her name.
We had lunch in the cafe, went to a yarn shop and had time for a cake and coffee before getting the train home.
