A King's Headstone.

Today, it was hissing down from dawn until mid-afternoon when I checked the weather forecast. It was a little encouraging but, it was still drizzling when I left the B&B though I was rewarded with some amazing light an hour later.
 
This rock is (allegedly) a headstone for one of the three Viking kings who died in the Battle of the Bauds in 962 AD. Strangely, there are only two of these rocks, and two others a little further up the beach.
