Australian War Memorial

Today I went to the Australian War Memorial and simply put.....all Australians I believe should be made to make a visit here at least once in their lifetime! The Museum attached to the memorial is one of the best I've seen.....and I've seen a few museums all around the world in my time!! To any international viewers, if you are ever in Canberra....please make a visit to the War Memorial.

By the way, those are poppies on the plaques next to the names of Australian soldiers who died in battle. I think it's appropriate and it makes for a great photo (along with the people and shadows of the afternoon sun).
