Hellebore lividus

Always presumed the name lividus came from being livid but is evidently to do with being a "blush", which is very true.

New into the garden this year and surprised how short they are and at the leaves. Very non-helebore but maybe I have just not seen shorter ones before. Got a whiter/yellowy one too and annoyed with myself cause they are planted completely parallel with the border. Sorry but that kind of neatness should only happen in the vege garden. Down the garden I want the "natural" look (because ofcourse you'd find all these different plants in one area)
