Back to school

Not your everyday Back to School day for Ottawacker Jr. This marks the first time in 18 months he will have gone to school - and it is fair to say he is coping a lot better than I am.

Having stayed at home during the initial phases of the pandemic, he is back in to school to try and socialize once again and avoid the, well, you know what. Ottawa has been pretty good... however, no 8-year-olds have been vaccinated yet, as far as I know. So it really is "into the breach".

Thought about it and worried about it all day long. But what is the alternative?
