A Medical Day

Spent a few hours in the UW ER with H and his chronic esophageal spasm which didn’t go away like usual…from dinner last night . ( not much sleep here)    Mostly fixed with nitro.   Came home, ate something, had a read and a nap and got in the car to be my dil’s buddy at another UW facility while she got her chemo infusion for her breast cancer.. #6 out of #12!  For this round.  She’s doing great.   We had a lovely chat.  Enough mask wearing for one day for me tho. 

Ah the blip.   Just couldn’t do medical so this is an artwork near the ER in University Hospital by an artist I knew from my time at the U.  Dennis Evans.  I had a piece of his… now at son #1’s
Of course I’ve forgotten the name of it some utopian wide view of the world…. and couldn’t find it online but will try to link Here this interesting artist. ( who should not be too happy about the dark hallway this is displayed in.). Didn’t realize that selfie would be so prominent in this copper piece….:-) there’s another across the hallway you can see. 
Extra  is the view from Seattle Cancer Care Alliance…. It’s 5 minutes from our house!
