A Very Special Day

Today we received a phone call from our son which changed our lives in an instant. We have become grandparents for the first time. I am overwhelmed with emotion at this wonderful news, what an amazing feeling. A baby girl to love and cherish. We are so proud of our son and daughter-in-law. They will make wonderful parents. Toys from my son's childhood have been resurrected from storage to begin a new life and my own gift of a knitted teddy bear I hope will receive lots of cuddles over the years to come.
