Thelwall Fire Duck

Just along the road from the stables which featured in yesterday's blip is Thelwall Post Office. This photograph was taken from the cobbles in front of the Pickering Inn. As you can see from the road sign it sits on a bend in the road.

Yesterday PaulaJ made comment about the Thelwall Viaduct on the M6 which takes it's name from the village. And indeed the constant hum of traffic can be heard. Particularly on days like today when the wind was in the east.
