I've heard a rumour…

… as yet unproven in 20+ years, that Jerusalem Artichokes actually flower.  
Well! 
After 100s grown in (Pure guesswork) 20-30 years I have yet to see ONE flower.
UNLESS this is it.  I did a spot of drop-dodging and performed the time honoured wander and click.  This year the Oca flowered, not last year.  The Chinese "Artichokes" came close but I think Jerusalem Artichoke deserved centre stage.  Whether I'll SEE a flower is a Horse of a different colour; but at least I know it TRIED.
