Something about this shot appealed to me, just the stark contrast of the back ground I think.

I was about to photograph a Thrush foraging below the feeders, when Chris, doing yet more snow moving to make room for my son's car hopefully arriving from Scotland tomorrow, spooked it and it didn't return.

I also liked this Coal Tit who appears to be preparing to swallow a twig whole!

Needless to say the snow keeps on coming as this poor Siskin is observing.
